It all started when…

After more than 30 years of serving a dedicated customer base in Simsbury, Linda Weiss-Gelineau opened L Designs Salon at 926 Hopmeadow Street in the Simsbury Town Shops. Linda was a dedicated, talented professional who continued to keep a smile on her face, even through cancer treatments. Linda tragically lost her battle in 2015, but her spirit lives on in her salon. 

In 2021 Danielle Mathias, longtime L Designs stylist and salon manager, purchased the salon. As the owner and lead stylist, Danielle’s mission is to keep L Designs running with the same love and passion that Linda had. She is committed to building and maintaining a team of professionally certified stylists who all work together to make sure all your hair needs are addressed - they truly believe that "Love is in the hair."
